一、课程介绍
1.课程描述:环境生物学是环境科学的一个重要分支学科,主要探讨生物与受损环境(人类干扰和影响条件下变化了的环境)之间相互关系的科学,研究人类活动对生态系统造成的污染和破坏,人类和生物对环境污染和生态破坏产生的响应,以及对受损环境进行生物净化、生物修复和保护的基本原理、技术和应用。
2.设计思路:《环境生物学》是环境科学学科的核心课程,与环境生态学、环境化学、环境地质学和环境规划与管理等学科的课程交叉,包含了污染生态学、环境微生物学、环境毒理学、保护生物学和恢复生态学等分支学科课程的先修内容。该课程突出基础性、前沿性和应用性,着眼于环境生物学的基本概念、主要理论体系及其应用途径,切入一些前沿领域和热点问题。
3.课程与其他课程的关系:本课程的先修课程为《普通生物学》和《基础生态学》,后置课程《环境微生物学》和《生态毒理学》。
二、课程目标
本课程以理解和掌握基本概念和基本原理为首要目的,主要培养和训练学生认识生物与环境的相互关系及其基本规律,掌握环境生物学的基本理论、研究方法和技术,同时拓宽学生的学术视野和知识结构,为进一步的学习和工作打下良好的基础。
学生将掌握环境生物学的基本内涵,认识生态环境的主要问题,掌握污染物在受损环境和生态系统中的行为,污染物和受损环境对生态系统不同组织水平的影响和损害及其检测方法。理解环境生物学原理和技术在生物监测、生态退化修复、污染治理、环境净化和生物多样性保护等方面的应用原理和基本方法。
三、学习要求
为达到上述预期的学习目标,要求学生在课前进行预习,了解课中讲授的主要内容,找到知识要点和各人的难点;要求学生在课中认真听讲,掌握学习内容,明确并理解知识的要点和难点;要求学生在课后回顾课中学习内容,认真完成作业,巩固对要点和难点的掌握。
通过课堂中对前沿和热点知识的适当介绍,推荐经典和最新著作和文献,使学有余力的学生了解并深入学习学科前沿。

1.Course Overview
Environmental Biology is a branch of Environmental Sciences, which discussing the relationship between organisms and intruded environment, studying the pollution, damage and feedback to the ecosystem impacted by human activities, and applying on the biological purification, bioremediation and biodiversity protection.
